Summary: The Interim Finance Business Partner role focuses on financial planning and analysis (FP&A) to support a change and transformation project in Derbyshire. The position requires a qualified finance professional to lead budgeting, forecasting, and stakeholder engagement while enhancing financial reporting and driving commercial decision-making. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling to support strategic objectives.
- Act as a trusted finance partner to senior leadership, providing insights and challenge to drive commercial decision-making.
- Develop and enhance financial reporting, delivering meaningful KPIs and variance analysis.
- Conduct sensitivity analysis and support cost efficiency initiatives.
- Assess opportunities, risks, and financial impacts of strategic initiatives.
- Identify and implement enhancements to financial systems, reporting, and planning processes.
- Support period-end close, prepare board reports, and present findings to leadership teams.
Key Skills:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with a strong background in FP&A and business partnering.
- Proven experience in a commercial finance or FP&A role.
- Strong financial modelling, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders with clear, insightful financial advice.
- Experience in fast-paced, dynamic environments with a proactive, hands-on approach.
- Immediate availability or short notice preferred.
