Summary: The Finance Business Partner role is a newly created position within a dynamic organization in Bath, focusing on both day-to-day and strategic financial operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing management accounts, financial analysis, and supporting budgeting and forecasting processes. Key Responsibilities:
- Full responsibility and preparation of monthly management accounts including P&L and Balance Sheet ownership.
- Preparation of ad hoc financial analysis and quarterly external reporting.
- Support the Head of Finance with budgeting, forecasting and MI reporting.
- Support year-end processes and prepare audit evidence for external auditors.
- Exposure to wider group finance functions with the opportunity to take on additional roles and responsibilities.
- Taking a proactive role in reviewing and improving financial systems, controls and procedures.
Key Skills:
- Qualified accountant or part-qualified actively pursuing studies.
- Strong experience in preparing full management and statutory accounts.
- Experience supporting audit processes.
- Experience in industry or audit, preferably in a professional services business.

Are you ready to take the next step in your finance career within a dynamic and evolving organisation? We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Business Partner to join a client based here in Bath in a newly created role.
Your new role
This is a broad role, offering full exposure to both the day-to-day and strategic operations of the business. Working closely with the Head of Finance, the role will include:
- Full responsibility and preparation of monthly management accounts including P&L and Balance Sheet ownership.

What you'll need to succeed
We are ideally looking for a qualified accountant but would consider someone that is part-qualified and actively pursuing their studies. You should have strong experience of preparing full management and statutory accounts and experience supporting audit would be beneficial. We can consider someone that is either in industry or in audit, and it would be great if you had experience in a professional services business.
