Summary: The Finance Business Partner role focuses on providing financial support to the Repairs and Assets teams within a Housing Association on an interim basis. The position involves producing management accounts, analyzing variances, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. The role also includes challenging budget holders on financial performance and implementing controls for financial information accuracy. This position offers hybrid working arrangements with one day a week in the office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce accurate management accounts commentary in Directorate Packs.
- Analyze in-month and year-to-date variances against budget and projections.
- Quantify year-end impacts and potential future budget implications.
- Review routine journals to ensure accurate reporting of income, expenditure, and balance sheet items.
- Challenge budget holders on overspends and assist in managing financial risks or opportunities.
- Establish and implement controls to ensure accuracy of working papers and financial information.
Key Skills:

- Experience in budget management and financial performance evaluation.
