Summary: The Finance Business Partner role involves supporting a global manufacturing business by driving the annual budget and quarterly forecast processes while ensuring financial planning aligns with company objectives. The position requires strong analytical skills and the ability to manage financial reporting and challenge operational performance. The role also includes participation in assessing business cases for investments and improvement projects. This is a 12-month contract based in Bristol with a hybrid working arrangement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the annual budget and quarterly forecast process across all business units.
  • Collaborate with local business managers to define and propose improvement projects for budget inclusion.
  • Manage financial reporting to ensure visibility of performance and early warning of financial risks.
  • Challenge operational performance and support management in achieving targets.
  • Participate in the assessment of business cases for operational investments and performance improvement projects.
  • Conduct financial controlling activities.

Key Skills:

  • Qualified Accountant with at least 2 years PQE in a manufacturing or commercial environment.
  • Knowledge and experience in SAP or equivalent financial reporting tools.
  • Experience in a similar Business Partnering role.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic team with a positive, proactive mindset.
  • Strong communication skills for engaging with multiple stakeholders.
