Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee project financial performance from initiation to completion, including budgeting, forecasting, cost tracking, and variance analysis
- Partner with project managers and senior stakeholders to provide financial insight, challenge assumptions, and support decision-making
- Develop and deliver timely, accurate reporting on project performance, risks, and opportunities
- Lead forecasting and budgeting cycles, ensuring alignment with delivery timelines and cost profiles
- Support investment appraisals, including ROI, NPV, and payback modelling for new initiatives
- Ensure strong financial governance and control across the project portfolio
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance reporting accuracy and transparency
Key Skills:
- ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified
- Proven experience across FP&A, project accounting, and commercial finance
- Exposure to large-scale project environments
- Strong capability in budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and CapEx management
- Advanced financial modelling and business case development skills
- Ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights
- Confident stakeholder manager, comfortable working with senior leaders and non-finance teams
- Commercially minded with the confidence to challenge and influence decisions

We’re supporting a Private Equity–backed organisation delivering a portfolio of high-value, business-critical projects, and we’re looking for a commercially astute Finance Business Analyst to join on an initial 12 month engagement. This is a high-impact interim role sitting at the intersection of finance, operations, and project delivery.
