Summary: The Finance Business Analyst role involves supporting a growing Financial Services business in London by enhancing and upgrading their Finance Systems suite. The position requires collaboration with various stakeholders to analyze processes, implement improvements, and support system upgrades. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and technology, particularly in automation and data analysis. This is a 6-month contract with the potential for a permanent position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the accounting team to analyze existing processes and identify opportunities for improvement and automation.
- Develop and implement process enhancements using Excel automation tools, including advanced formulas, macros, and VBA, or by leveraging existing platforms such as NetSuite.
- Support finance system upgrades and enhancements (e.g., ERP integrations, automation tools), including participation in user acceptance testing (UAT) and preparation of related documentation.
- Identify workflow inefficiencies and contribute to the design and implementation of streamlined, scalable, and automated solutions.
- Work cross-functionally with stakeholders to ensure accurate and efficient data flow across systems and processes.
Key Skills:
- 3–5 years of experience in an accounting or finance-related analyst role.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting (preferably IFRS).
- Strong proficiency in Excel and experience working with large financial datasets.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (NetSuite) and general ledger functionality.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, or other reporting tools is a must have.

Fidarsi are delighted to be partnering with this growing Financial Services business based in the City of London, in helping to find a Business Analyst to assist on a number of Finance Technology based projects. As the business grows they are looking to enhance and upgrade their Finance Systems suite and are looking for someone with a good track record of Finance and Technology to help them do so.
Reporting into the Finance Director, and working closely with the Financial Controller and Head of FP&A, key responsibilities will include:
