Summary: The Senior Finance Business Analyst will report to the Director of Planning & Reporting, focusing on managing Technology costs, M&A impacts, and the business planning and reporting cycle. This role requires collaboration with finance colleagues to influence business decisions and improve financial processes. The analyst will be responsible for forecasting, planning, accounting, and reporting, while also integrating legacy finance operations. A culture of accountability and continuous improvement is emphasized in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Planning and Reporting Director in managing Technology costs and M&A impacts.
  • Lead FP&A activities across divisional and group finance colleagues.
  • Produce consolidated reporting in Excel, including commentary and variance analysis.
  • Create PowerPoint slides for effective storytelling.
  • Drive efficiency in financial activities.
  • Establish standard FP&A processes for visibility across divisions.
  • Produce monthly Operations Management and Quarterly Board Reports.
  • Maintain SAP ledgers for head office entities and manage monthly accruals and prepayments.
  • Prepare month-end and quarter-end review files with commentary on balance sheet variances.
  • Work on integrating legacy finance operations by the end of 2024.

  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
