Summary: The Finance Reporting Associate role is a hybrid contract position based in London, focusing on financial and managerial accounting as well as regulatory reporting for both London and EU branches. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in monthly closing tasks, including invoice payments and accruals/prepayments.
- Provide daily financial accounting support to front and non-front departments.
- Identify issues and provide solutions.
- Prepare and check internal and external reports.
- General ledger monitoring and maintenance under US GAAP.
- Support with month-end closing and EMEA/Tokyo reporting.
- Assist auditors with financial statements and reporting.
- Implement controls and enhance financial statement accuracy.
- Provide expertise and support to various bank departments.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulatory reporting requirements.
- Review cashbooks and post journal entries.
- Maintain accrual schedules and fixed asset registers.
- Prepare and submit regulatory reports to central banks.
- Support audits and tax return preparation.
Key Skills:
- Solid Accounting/business knowledge including accruals and prepayment process and/or balance sheet reconciliation.
- Background of working within a large Financial Service organisation.
- Very good knowledge of Excel.
- Good knowledge of Power BI and Power Query.
- Reporting system IT and analytical experience.

They are looking for a Finance Reporting Associate to join the team on a contract to August 2026 with the potential to extend. You will be working Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm or 9am to 5pm with the need for out of hours requirement during busy periods – normally around month end. This position is hybrid working being office based 3 days a week, flexibility required to mirror team members whilst learning the role.
Purpose of Job This role is to provide supporting function for finance reporting team covering both London and EU branches with financial (/managerial) accounting and regulatory reporting matters.
Accountabilities & Responsibilities London Assist in monthly closing tasks, including invoice payments and accruals/prepayments. Prepare and check internal and external reports. General ledger monitoring and maintenance under US GAAP. Support with month-end closing and EMEA/Tokyo reporting. Support general ledger processes across other locations. Assist auditors with financial statements and reporting. Implement controls and enhance financial statement accuracy. Support internal and external reporting under tight deadlines. Provide expertise and support to various bank departments. EU Financial support and control for thin branches in Prague, Amsterdam, Madrid, and Dublin. Ensure compliance with financial regulatory reporting requirements. Report financial information to headquarters and stakeholders. Review cashbooks and post journal entries. Maintain accrual schedules and fixed asset registers. Prepare and submit regulatory reports to central banks. Support audits and tax return preparation.
