Summary: The Finance Assistant role involves supporting the finance department of a housing association in Pontypridd through a 3-month contract. Key Responsibilities:
- Day to day processing of the Accounts Payable function in a cost effective, timely and accurate manner
- Recording and tracking invoices, resolving queries and reconciling statements
- Assist in month end/year end closure and reporting
- Undertaking any other duties as required by the Payroll, Payments & Systems Manager
- Deliver high quality customer service to a variety of stakeholders either in person, by telephone or in writing
Key Skills:
- Relevant qualification in finance
- Proven experience in accounts payable and accounting principles
- Confident in using IT systems
- Excellent planning/organising skills
- Able to meet challenging deadlines with exceptional attention to detail
- Demonstrable experience of providing excellent customer service
