Summary: The Finance Assistant role involves supporting the finance department of a housing association in Pontypridd through a 3-month contract. Key responsibilities include processing accounts payable, tracking invoices, and assisting with month-end and year-end closures. Key Responsibilities:

  • Day to day processing of the Accounts Payable function in a cost effective, timely and accurate manner
  • Recording and tracking invoices, resolving queries and reconciling statements
  • Assist in month end/year end closure and reporting
  • Undertaking any other duties as required by the Payroll, Payments & Systems Manager
  • Deliver high quality customer service to a variety of stakeholders either in person, by telephone or in writing

Key Skills:

  • Relevant qualification in finance
  • Proven experience in accounts payable and accounting principles
  • Confident in using IT systems
  • Excellent planning/organising skills
  • Able to meet challenging deadlines with exceptional attention to detail
  • Demonstrable experience of providing excellent customer service
