As a Finance Assistant you will be responsible for supporting with financial reporting, performing accruals and prepayments, and assisting in preparing month-end and management accounts. Description Handle day-to-day financial transactions such as invoicing, payments, and banking Maintain and update financial records Assist with the preparation of monthly financial reports Coordinate with the Accounting & Finance team to ensure financial procedures are followed Support the annual budgeting and auditing processes Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations Contribute to the team's objectives in the public sector Perform ad hoc financial tasks as required Profile A successful Finance Assistant should have: Demonstable experience in a similar Finance role Experience of preparing and analysing budgets Excellent numerical skills Good organisational abilities Strong attention to detail Effective communication skills The ability to work well as part of a team Experience using financial software Job Offer Full time role Hybrid working Ongoing for the next 6 months (with a view to then extend for a further 12 months) 20-23 p/h Weekly pay ASAP start.
