Job Title: Finance AssistantLocation: LondonSalary: 37,500 - 42,000 per annumDuration: 6 Months, initiallyRole Overview:We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join an international real estate consultancy specializing in the luxury sector. As a Finance Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Finance team with day-to-day accounting procedures, assisting with finance-related projects, and ensuring smooth financial operations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the ongoing success of the finance department in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:Accounts Payable and Billing:Process all AP invoices, payments, and intercompany billings.Act as the first point of contact for all AP queries, both internal and external.Administer and manage the accounts inbox(s), ensuring timely responses and resolution of queries.Finance Project Support:Assist with finance-related projects, particularly supporting the ongoing NetSuite integration project.Provide support to the wider finance team in various tasks and projects as needed.Bank and Expense Reconciliation:Reconcile bank transactions and statements, ensuring accuracy and completeness.Assist with month-end activities, including reporting and analysis.Investigate and resolve outstanding creditor items in a timely manner.Expense and Credit Card Management:Review and process employee expense claims, ensuring adherence to company policies.Review and process employee credit card and prepaid card transactions.Communication and Collaboration:Liaise with colleagues and third parties as needed, providing clear and professional communication via email or phone.Work collaboratively with the finance team and other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.Key Qualifications and Skills:Experience in a finance or accounting role, preferably within the real estate or luxury sector.Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing financial transactions and reconciliations.Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.Proficiency in accounting software (experience with NetSuite is a plus).Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.A proactive and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.If you are a driven and organized individual looking to support a growing finance team in a fast-paced luxury real estate environment, we encourage you to apply.
