Summary: The Finance Assistant role is a temporary position for 3 months within a marketing agency that partners with globally recognized companies. The successful candidate will manage the Accounts Payable function, including processing invoices and supporting month-end reconciliations. This role requires immediate availability and prior experience in a similar finance position. Knowledge of finance systems like Netsuite is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Processing invoices
  • Preparing payment runs
  • Supporting month-end close processes, including journals, prepayments, and accruals
  • Balance Sheet reconciliations
  • Processing company credit cards and staff expenses
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Assisting in reporting such as Creditor Reports

Key Skills:

  • Previous experience as a Finance Assistant or Accounts Assistant
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables)
  • Experience with finance systems such as Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, or similar

Change Accountancy is delighted to be working with a private sector organisation as they look to appoint a Finance Assistant for 3 months to their team . Our client is a marketing agency which has partner with some of the biggest globally recognised companies. This is a temporary role for 3 months which is paying at competitive hourly rate.

Our client is within the sales & marketing sector who has seen massive amounts of success and has partnered with globally recognised FTSE 100 organisations. They are going strength to strength and are now onto their next phase of growth.

Role Overview

The Finance Assistant will have full ownership of the Accounts Payable Function which includes, processing invoices, payment runs, dealing with queries, staff expenses and company credit card processing while also supporting with month-end and balance sheet reconciliations.

Candidate Profile

We are keen to speak with individuals who have worked in a similar Finance Assistant / Accounts Assistant who is available with immediately for a 3-month contract. Prior experience using Netsuite would be advantages.
