Key Responsibilities:

  • Processing of customer bank receipts into the accounting system
  • Matching transactions to sales invoices on a timely basis
  • Liaising with customers regarding remittances received
  • Management of the accounts inbox
  • Liaising with internal departments to resolve billing and payment issues
  • Processing of customer cheques
  • Assisting with the management of the trade debtors and month-end close

Key Skills:

  • 2 years’ experience within finance or administrative role
  • Good IT Skills (Excel and Certinia – preferable)
  • Experience with Stripe and Online Banking (desirable)
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Proactive and able to use initiative
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong time management and organizational abilities
  • Confident and professional telephone manner
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English (minimum C/4 grade)
