Key Responsibilities:
- Processing of customer bank receipts into the accounting system
- Matching transactions to sales invoices on a timely basis
- Liaising with customers regarding remittances received
- Management of the accounts inbox
- Liaising with internal departments to resolve billing and payment issues
- Processing of customer cheques
- Assisting with the management of the trade debtors and month-end close
Key Skills:
- 2 years’ experience within finance or administrative role
- Good IT Skills (Excel and Certinia – preferable)
- Experience with Stripe and Online Banking (desirable)
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Proactive and able to use initiative
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong time management and organizational abilities
- Confident and professional telephone manner
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English (minimum C/4 grade)
