We are currently working in partnership with a Multi-Academy Trust based in West London, who are recruiting for a Finance Analyst on a 2-month temporary contract. The position is due to start immediately. The hourly rate of pay is negotiable depending on experience.
The ideal candidate will have previously assist with a system migration, have an Enhanced DBS certificate on the update service.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Supported the migration of financial data from legacy systems to a new finance system, ensuring accuracy, completeness and data integrity throughout the process
- Analysed and reconciled financial data between legacy and new systems, identifying discrepancies and resolving data issues prior to migration
- Worked closely with Finance, IT and external system providers to support system configuration, testing and implementation
- Developed and maintained financial reports and analysis within the new system, ensuring management information remained accurate and fit for purpose
- Supported user acceptance testing, process improvements and system training, helping finance teams transition effectively to the new platform
Experience required:
- Technical Systems Accountant
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
- Strong financial analysis and reporting skills
- Good understanding of budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
- Advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP and financial modelling
