Summary: The Finance Data Analyst position is a temporary role focused on building and validating a data cube to enhance Management Information reporting and support strategic decision-making within a pharmaceutical and medical context. The role requires strong analytical skills and proficiency in tools such as Excel, Power BI, and SQL, while ensuring data accuracy and compliance with internal controls. The position offers a hybrid working arrangement in Twickenham and involves collaboration with a dedicated finance team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Support a strategic Data Cube project for Management Information (MI) reporting.
  • Build, validate, and maintain a backlog, revenue, and margins data cube.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity across systems (Xero, Data Rails, Excel).
  • Develop documentation for data structures, processes, and validation checks.
  • Create new reports from the data cube for operational and board requirements.
  • Perform detailed analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and improvement opportunities.
  • Provide adhoc data queries and reporting support to stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and data governance standards.
  • Produce outputs such as reconciliations, KPI validation, profitability checks, and cash-flow analysis.
