Summary: The Finance Data Analyst position is a temporary role focused on building and validating a data cube to enhance Management Information reporting and support strategic decision-making within a pharmaceutical and medical context. Key Responsibilities:
- Support a strategic Data Cube project for Management Information (MI) reporting.
- Build, validate, and maintain a backlog, revenue, and margins data cube.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity across systems (Xero, Data Rails, Excel).
- Develop documentation for data structures, processes, and validation checks.
- Create new reports from the data cube for operational and board requirements.
- Perform detailed analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and improvement opportunities.
- Provide adhoc data queries and reporting support to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and data governance standards.
- Produce outputs such as reconciliations, KPI validation, profitability checks, and cash-flow analysis.
