Sewell Wallis are working with a large and well-established retailer looking for a Finance Analyst to join their Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience within a large, reputable company and expand your skills.What will you be doing?Establishing and maintaining robust relationships with third-party partnersActively engaging in the management of warehouse stock controlResponding to ad hoc queries from various individuals across the business as neededMonitoring, identifying, and investigating areas of concern, coordinating with warehousing teams, IT, and/or other Finance teams as necessaryResponding to requests for ad hoc reports within required deadlinesTracking against the budget/forecast and investigating any discrepanciesEnsuring clients can make necessary financial provisions and adjustments through accurate financial accountingPreparing weekly and monthly reports on stock movement and shrinkage, detailing stock losses and gainsPreparing and analysing balance sheet reconciliations, providing justifications for all exceptional items or unusual balances to ensure minimal reconciliation pointsWhat skills are we looking for?Excellent attention to detail with an analytical approach to problem-solvingAbility to analyse and interpret large volumes of informationStrong communication and influencing skillsProficient in IT, particularly Microsoft ExcelEnthusiastic and driven, with a genuine passion for self-developmentPart Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, or ACA) or a graduate willing to studyAdaptable and able to keep pace with a fast-moving environmentCommercially aware with an understanding of core business processesWhat's on offer?Free parking on siteHybrid workingStudy supportThe opportunity to work in a progressive environment, with plenty of opportunities to enhance your skill setIf this role is something you'd be interested in then send us your CV below or contact Chloe Wilford for more information.To apply please send your CV, quoting our reference and specifying which website you saw this position advertised on.
