Finance Analyst

Summary: The Finance Analyst role offers an opportunity to join a well-established Accounting & Finance department in Milton Keynes on a 6-month contract. The successful candidate will focus on process improvement and dashboard development within the FMCG sector, contributing to financial performance reporting and analysis. Key Responsibilities:

• Streamline processes in the finance team
• Develop dashboards including monthly reports
• Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews
• Analyse past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements
• Recommend actions by analysing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; study proposed changes in methods and materials
• Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting

Key Skills:

• Proven work experience as a Finance Analyst or similar role
• Advanced Excel skills including macros
• Experience with Power BI
• Hands-on experience with statistical analysis and statistical packages
• Outstanding presentation, reporting, and communication skills
