Finance Analyst

Summary: The Finance Analyst role at a global pharmaceutical company in Marlow involves managing project budgets and operational finances, with a focus on IT budgets. Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the budget planning process and track its progress throughout the year.
• Consolidate IT budget elements from various countries.
• Track spending profiles across Functional and Project Budgets.
• Chair regular review processes with the IT leadership team.
• Coordinate cross-transfers between Business and IT.
• Monitor and report on the Departments Travel & Expenses budget.
• Track Capital Expense and depreciation modelling.
• Support LBE updates in Smartsheet and local excel files.
• Own the portfolio across Business as Usual and provide insights.
• Follow up with leaders for updates to systems and financial forecasts.
• Communicate budgetary status with business partners and Finance personnel.
• Coordinate with vendors for reconciliation files and invoice submissions.
• Oversee intercompany cross charges.
• Create and process Purchase Order requests and Requests for Capital Expenditure.

Key Skills:

• Proven experience in a finance role.
• Experience supporting IT and/or business departments.
• Strong relationship-building skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Experience using SAP.
• Experience working with remote teams and vendor resources.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong collaboration skills.
• Fluent in English.
