Our client is a well-known, multi-site business with a strong market presence and an ambitious growth strategy. They are seeking additional support within their finance team and require an analytical individual who can quickly add value in a fast-paced environment.

Description: The key responsibilities of this Temporary Finance Analyst role will be:

• Producing weekly and monthly financial reports and performance analysis
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting and reforecasting processes
• Analysing variances and providing commentary to key stakeholders
• Assisting with management accounts and month-end activities
• Building and maintaining financial models and reporting tools
• Partnering with operational teams to provide commercial insight
• Identifying trends, risks and opportunities through data analysis
• Supporting ad hoc projects and process improvement initiatives

Profile: The successful candidate will have:

• Previous experience in a Finance Analyst, Commercial Analyst or Management Accountancy role
• Strong Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, SUMIFS and XLOOKUPs
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders
• The ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Availability to start at short notice
