Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and post month-end journals with accuracy, ensuring all financial data is recorded in line with established accounting standards.
  • Calculate and prepare comprehensive reports for senior management and operational teams to inform strategic business decisions.
  • Undertake meticulous balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring all entries are precise and compliant with relevant regulations.
  • Support the month-end close process by verifying that all transactions are correctly recorded and reported within tight deadlines.
  • Provide ad hoc analysis as required by senior stakeholders to support strategic initiatives or operational improvements across various departments.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across different functions to ensure consistency and accuracy in financial reporting processes.
  • Assist in identifying trends or discrepancies within financial data, using investigative skills to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of finance operations.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation of processes and procedures related to your responsibilities, supporting transparency and knowledge transfer within the team.
