Finance Analyst

Summary: The role of Finance Analyst involves providing expert support and enhancement for the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance platform on a contract basis. The candidate will work closely with finance stakeholders to gather requirements, implement system enhancements, and deliver user training. The position requires hands-on troubleshooting and support for D365 Finance modules, as well as documentation of processes and system changes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance processes and experience in finance systems support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide hands-on support and troubleshooting for the D365 Finance modules
• Liaise directly with finance stakeholders to gather requirements and implement system enhancements
• Document issues, processes, and system changes clearly for future reference
• Deliver user training and prepare user guides as needed
• Support integration efforts with third-party systems and reporting tools
• Monitor system performance and recommend improvements
• Assist with month-end and year-end financial close activities from a system perspective.

Key Skills:

• Proven experience (3+ years) working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance in a finance systems support
• Strong knowledge of finance processes and accounting fundamentals
• Ability to quickly understand and adapt to existing system configurations
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Experience supporting finance teams during critical periods (close, audits, etc.)
• Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Salary (Rate): £75k yearly
