Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Finance Analyst to support our Finance team during a period of transition. This is a 3-month contract opportunity focused on managing a backlog of cost price corrections and providing SAP-based finance support across the NE region.

The successful candidate will take ownership of cost price maintenance activities, help establish best practices and controls, document processes, and provide month-end reporting support. This role requires strong SAP experience and the ability to work independently with a high degree of accuracy.

Cost Price Maintenance & Control

• Manage and maintain Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) pricing across all categories within the NE business.
• Complete cost price corrections and updates accurately and efficiently.
• Perform ongoing price maintenance and ensure system alignment across SAP.
• Monitor and maintain data integrity for cost price records.

Process Improvement & Documentation

• Identify and recommend best practices for COGS cost price maintenance and control.
• Develop and document standardized processes and procedures.
• Create comprehensive work instructions for all cost price maintenance and control activities.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to streamline finance operations.

SAP Support

• Provide SAP-based support for finance processes and data maintenance.
• Run, extract, and analyze SAP reports as required.
• Support month-end activities through report generation and data preparation.
• Develop work instructions for SAP report execution and background processing activities.

Month-End Support

• Assist the Finance team during month-end close activities.
• Support reporting requirements through SAP downloads and data extraction.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of financial data and reports.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Proven experience working in a Finance Analyst, Financial Analyst, or similar finance support role.
• Strong SAP experience is essential.
• Experience with cost price management, COGS maintenance, and financial data controls.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Excel and financial data management.
• Experience creating process documentation and work instructions.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
