Summary: The Finance Analyst - Group Financial Accounting role involves consolidating, analyzing, and communicating financial information for a leading client on a 12-month contract. The position requires providing technical advice on accounting issues and preparing various financial reports. The role is based in Heathrow with a hybrid working arrangement. The position is classified as inside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Consolidation of group financial results (including all departments, subsidiaries and associates).
- Preparation of the Annual Report and Interim Management Reports.
- Preparation of the monthly cash flow actuals and managing the inputs across the business.
- Deliver technical accounting updates on new accounting and financial reporting developments.
- Responsible for reporting subsidiary financial information to subsidiary Boards, Leadership Team and Company Secretaries.
- Preparing impact assessments on changes to accounting standards and developing implementation plans for those impacting the Group.
- Support the FA team by performing technical research, analysis and drafting technical papers where appropriate on emerging technical accounting issues.
- Prepare statutory accounts for centrally managed subsidiaries.

- Experience designing, implementing and running processes in partnership with overseas professional providers.
- Experience in financial modelling and forecasting using business knowledge and assumption guidelines.
- Budgetary control and business/financial planning.
- Experience dealing with external and internal audits.
- Experience with SAP and Hyperion (Essbase, SMART and Planning).
- Experience facilitating training and large group presentations.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Knowledge of UK and overseas reporting requirements.
- Accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA) or equivalent, with relevant post-qualification experience.
- Audit background with Big Four Professional Services Firm.
- Technical accounting and group consolidation experience essential.
- Aviation industry experience desirable.

Understanding, consolidating, analysing and communicating financial information relating to our group, to both internal and external audiences. Provide technical advice on a range of technical accounting issues.
Contract - 12 Months
Location - Heathrow ( Hybrid working - 3 days from office & 2 days from home per week)
