Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and review the allocated expense codes.
- Support the Finance Manager with ad hoc duties and improvements.
- Complete detailed and accurate analysis of allocated P&L expense codes as part of the month-end process.
- Own allocated expense codes to identify incorrect entries and challenge unusual or unexpected costs/trends.
- Monthly reconciliation of allocated balance sheet accounts and clear reconciling items.
- Understand the relationship between the P&L and balance sheet to ensure month-end accruals/prepayments and other adjustments are processed.
- Work on own initiative and build relationships with key stakeholders in the business.
- Support internal and external audits of the function.
- Undertake other duties as required to support the Finance Manager.
Key Skills:
- Part qualified CIMA, ACCA, AAT or qualified by experience.

The opportunity As a Finance Analyst at Azets, you will have the ability and motivation needed to:
- Manage and review the allocated expense codes
- Support the Finance Manager with ad hoc duties and improvements

- Completion of detailed and accurate analysis of allocated P&L expense codes as part of the month end process
- Ownership of allocated expense codes to identify incorrect entries and to challenge unusual or unexpected costs/trends
- Monthly reconciliation of allocated balance sheet accounts, ability to identify and clear reconciling items
- Understand of the relationship between the P&L and balance sheet to ensure month end accruals/prepayments and other adjustments are processed
- Ability to work on own initiative and to build relationships with key stakeholders in the business
