Summary: The Finance Analyst role at Elizabeth Arden involves supporting the Finance team with a focus on month-end tasks, profitability analysis, and business partnering with the Sales Team. The Finance Analyst will engage in various financial reporting and analysis tasks to support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business partnering with Sales Team to review Net Sales by Brand & Customer and profitability analysis.
  • P&L analysis by Customer & Brand and updating sales pricing in demand model.
  • Completing Daily Sales Reports and participating in Weekly review meetings.
  • Assisting with monthly forecasts and the creation of the 2026 Budget.
  • Preparing month-end journals and ensuring approval of invoices and POs.
  • Supporting the finance team during month-end close and uploading forecast numbers.
  • Conducting ad hoc analysis and project work as required.
  • Assisting with annual audits and SOX related tasks.
  • Processing and checking Beauty advisor commissions and profitability analysis.
  • Updating various financial files and assisting with Accounts Payable queries.

Key Skills:

  • Strong IT Skills and advanced knowledge in Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills with previous experience in budgets and forecasts.
  • Retail industry awareness and experience.
  • Data manipulation experience.
  • Experience with JDE is desirable but not essential.

Job Summary
The Finance Analyst plays a pivotal role in supporting the Finance team as a whole. There is a focus on the month end tasks, Net Sales & Profit focused, Margins Customer & Brand, ad hoc tasks & business profitability analysis.
Key responsibilities:
Sales & Marketing Support:
Business partnering with all Sales Team to review numbers weekly, monthly, adhoc focusing on Net Sales by Brand & Customer & Profitability down to Gross Contribution Margin Analysis looking at sales & Cog mix impact on business profitability
P&L analysis by Customer & Brand
Updating & reviewing sales pricing in demand model
Daily Sales Report completion & Weekly review meeting with Sales Controllers & MD of Prestige
Working on the monthly forecast with Sales Team & Business Controller
Assisting with the 2026 Budget creation
Variance Analysis Reporting Internal & to Regional
Promotional Analysis
Assist with ALL Customer, Supplier and PO queries from the teams including training on the PO system in JDE
Month End Tasks
Preparing month end journals for open invoices, Sales & Marketing Spend accruals fixed & variable, checking revenue recognition at month end.
Updating actuals by Brand & Customer
Ensuring approval of invoices and POs
Reviewing aged POs & Accruals and deciding course of action
Support the finance team during month end close & upload of forecast numbers into the System
Supporting with Business Review Deck
Other Tasks
Adhoc Analysis and project work: When required, with ability to turn around work accurately and working to tight deadlines.
Assisting with annual audit & any SOX related tasks
Processing & checking Beauty advisor commissions
Responsible for Beauty Advisor Retail & profitability Analysis
Updating Sales and Cost of Goods prices in various files.
Checking sales pricing in various models
Updating Permanent Merchandising Capex file
Help teams with setting up Suppliers on MDG procurement system.
Assisting teams with Accounts Payable queries.

Internal: Finance team, Sales, Field and Management team, UK Prestige GM Geneva office (EMEA regional head office) Shared Service Centre (various locations)
