Summary: The Finance Analyst, Credit Control & Reconciliations role at Gallagher involves managing credit control services to enhance business growth by reducing aged debt and ensuring timely collection of broker funds. Key Responsibilities:

  • Reduce aged debt and manage outstanding balances with clients (primarily Business to Business)
  • Produce and issue regular Statement of Accounts for Brokers
  • Record and maintain Broker and Business records
  • Escalate issues with designated Business Unit to Team Leader
  • Manage financial accounts of external stakeholders, including reconciliation and settlement of ledger balances
  • Support internal teams in resolving unallocated cash and provide feedback on issues
  • Assist the business with queries related to the collection process
  • Participate in monthly Business Unit Meetings to address issues
  • Provide updates and reports on potential bad debt risks/issues
  • Handle and process payment requests in line with policy
  • Facilitate training and support for less experienced team members
  • Complete Insurer Payables monthly, collaborating with Business operations

Key Skills:

  • Strong Business to Business Credit Control experience
  • Ability to manage large volumes of data and complex reconciliations
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Essential customer/client experience
