Summary: This role as a Finance Analyst within the Asia Pacific Finance Group at Allied World involves supporting the Finance Operations team by managing receipts, processing transactions, and conducting monthly reconciliations. The position requires collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to resolve disputes and improve processes. It is a 6-month contract position aimed at enhancing operational efficiency in finance. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in finance or accounting and be a team player with strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monthly updating and reconciling of cash book and follow-up on bank reconciliation items
• Timely matching of unallocated receipts
• Collaboration with Credit Control, Account Managers, and external customers to resolve disputes
• Processing claims, premium refunds, and commissions
• Assisting in the preparation and analysis of monthly/quarterly operation reports
• Participation in process improvement projects
• Performing other ad hoc tasks as assigned

Key Skills:

• Diploma in Finance or Accounting
• Experience in Finance Operations, preferably in the Insurance industry
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Experience handling volume transactions with manual processes
