Summary: The Finance Analyst role at a leading global wine & spirits business involves engaging in financial analysis to enhance visibility on the organization's financial performance. The position requires collaboration with various departments to identify risks and support management through effective financial monitoring. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract with a hybrid working arrangement. The role demands a strong background in finance, particularly in budgeting and forecasting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participation in Budget and Forecast exercises, partnering with the sales and marketing department to analyse opportunities to improve topline and reduce costs.
• Support the CFO in maintaining a tight cost control across the Opex and Capex of the company.
• Monthly analysis of the year-to-date performance on the topline by brand and key client. Focus on ROI of investment by brand and customer spend.
• Assist in yearly Budget and quarterly forecast exercises, file preparation, deadline management and analysis of the bottom-up input from the Sales and Marketing departments.
• Support the accounts team in audit preparations.

Key Skills:

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or part-qualified accountant with experience in a commercial or similar environment.
• Over 5 years of experience in Finance modelling, budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting.
• Experience with financial analysis tools and Microsoft Excel.
• Proven experience in data analysis and interpretation of complex financial data.
• Good Excel skills, ability to work with VLOOKUP’s and pivot tables. Ideally experience in VBA or willingness to be trained in this.
• Experience with accounting software, Globe or equivalent.
