Summary: The Finance Assistant role at Survitec is designed for a Junior Finance Professional eager to advance their career within a global organization. The position involves supporting the finance team with credit and collections services, cash flow forecasting, and maintaining financial records. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and attention to detail, contributing to process improvements and efficient financial management. This is a full-time, fixed-term contract lasting between 3 to 6 months based in Ellesmere Port.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring weekly processes are achieved in a timely manner and all queries are resolved.
  • Creating and updating spreadsheets of financial transactions and cash books.
  • Reformatting and uploading data into internal and external portals.
  • Working closely and responsibly with internal finance teams and external parties.
  • Maintaining accurate and comprehensive records including posting journals.
  • Identifying and initiating process improvements and efficiencies.
  • Supporting cash flow forecasting.
  • Working with internal and external auditors.

Key Skills:

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Experience using or working with CSV and Excel files.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new software & processes.
  • Good organisational & time management skills.
  • Experience of a data-centric environment (desirable).
  • Administration experience within a finance environment (desirable).
  • Bachelor’s degree within Finance (desirable).
