Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out servicing, inspection, and repair of earthmoving machinery and equipment at customer premises or on site.
- Diagnosing specific fault issues and taking appropriate action.
- Returning all warranty and other return parts cleaned and on time, ensuring correct processes for packing and labelling.
- Ensuring all service information is read, understood, and filed correctly.
- Correctly filling all service manuals and ensuring they are consistently updated.
- Undertaking all work in compliance with manufacturer guidelines and recommendations.
- Escalating appropriate actions regarding broken or damaged company equipment.
- Developing effective working relationships with the support team at the depot.
- Maintaining a healthy and safe working environment through understanding of workplace safety requirements.
- Supporting the roles of others by completing administration and paperwork effectively and on time.
- Developing outstanding rapport and relationships with all customers.
- Coordinating with customers to understand their needs and adopting a flexible approach.
- Ensuring quality work standards are maintained and that repair sites are left clean.
- Contributing to the improvement of work processes for greater efficiency.
- Promoting company business through maintaining personal image and vehicle condition.
Key Skills:
- Satisfactory completion of a recognised apprenticeship in a related industry to NVQ level 3 or equivalent.
- GCSE passes grades A-C in Mathematics and English.
- Previous experience in a similar role and/or industry.

- Undertaking all work strictly in compliance with manufacturer guidelines and recommendations.

To be successful in a Field Service Engineer role, you'll need:
- Satisfactory completion of a recognised apprenticeship in a related industry to NVQ level 3 or equivalent
- GCSE passes grades A-C in Mathematics and English
- Able to demonstrate previous experience in a similar role and/or industry
- Flexible approach to work
- Ability to use own initiative
- Computer literate and able to demonstrate uses of IT relevant to role
