Summary: The Field Sales Representative role involves managing existing accounts across Scotland and the north of England for a leading FMCG manufacturer. This position focuses on building long-term client relationships and driving sales success in the region. Candidates will engage in face-to-face meetings and business development activities while working towards defined sales targets. The role is field-based, requiring candidates to be located in Stirling or Edinburgh.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct face-to-face meetings with a range of clients on a daily basis
- Develop relationships with key stakeholders across the accounts
- Communicate product availability, support with staff training and product merchandising in-store
- Adopt a flexible & adaptable approach to each customer account based on type of business & business location
- Execute a range of business development activities to maximise sales across designated territory
- Evaluate successes & highlight areas for improvement across territory, utilising data & budget for support
- Work towards a set of defined targets
Key Skills:
- 12+ months experience in a field sales role
- Background in FMCG is a plus
- Consideration for candidates from retail management or merchandising backgrounds
- Full UK driving license
