Summary: This role is for a Field Engineer at a prominent renewable energy company, focusing on Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) on an initial 12-month contract. The position requires on-site work five days a week, emphasizing installation, testing, and commissioning of BESS equipment. The engineer will also be responsible for troubleshooting, coordinating with teams, and maintaining safety standards. Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute on-site installation, testing, and commissioning of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) equipment.
  • Conduct thorough system troubleshooting and fault diagnosis to ensure optimal performance.
  • Coordinate effectively with subcontractors and internal teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all site activities and technical procedures.
  • Uphold and enforce Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards at all times.
  • Provide technical support and insights to project stakeholders, contributing to continuous improvement.
  • Assist in project handover and acceptance processes, ensuring all technical and operational requirements are met.

Key Skills:

  • Proven engineering experience in a relevant field.
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience in Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects.
  • Possession of a valid Low Voltage (LV) Certificate.
  • Valid CSCS Card.
  • Willingness and ability to work 5 days a week on site.
