Summary: This role is for a Field Engineer at a prominent renewable energy company, focusing on Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) for an initial 12-month contract. The position requires on-site work five days a week, emphasizing installation, testing, and commissioning of BESS equipment. The engineer will also be responsible for troubleshooting, coordinating with teams, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute on-site installation, testing, and commissioning of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) equipment.
- Conduct thorough system troubleshooting and fault diagnosis to ensure optimal performance.
- Coordinate effectively with subcontractors and internal teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all site activities and technical procedures.
- Uphold and enforce Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards at all times.
- Provide technical support and insights to project stakeholders, contributing to continuous improvement.
- Assist in project handover and acceptance processes, ensuring all technical and operational requirements are met.
Key Skills:
- Proven engineering experience in a relevant field.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience in Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects.
- Possession of a valid Low Voltage (LV) Certificate.
- Valid CSCS Card.
- Willingness and ability to work 5 days a week on site.
