Summary: The Family Time Contact Supervisor role at Erith Family Time Centre involves facilitating and supervising family time sessions for looked after children and their families. Erith family time centre delivers bespoke family time for our looked after children and their families. Family time sessions support the maintenance of positive relationships between a child and their non- resident family members wherever possible. Parents supported practically and emotionally to make supervised Family time sessions a positive experience wherever possible. The applicant will be able to greet parents, children and their carers and create a positive environment which will support the contact between parents and their children ensuring good information is available for the family. Responsibilities; To supervise family time between looked after children and their parents. This will include families where care proceedings are ongoing and staff will need to be sensitive to these issues, offering appropriate support to children and their parents. Reports to be made of the observations and social work staff to be contacted as required. To record information in a professional manner. To attend supervisory meetings, team meetings and training as required. To carry out duties within the Centre in accordance with health and safety regulations.
