Key Responsibilities
- Manage a Varied Caseload Of Family Law Matters, Including Divorce and financial remedy proceedings
- Children matters
- Domestic abuse cases
- Cohabitation disputes
- Adoption and other private family law matters
- Provide clear, practical, and empathetic legal advice to clients.
- Draft legal documents, correspondence, court applications, and agreements.
- Represent clients at court hearings, negotiations, and, where appropriate, mediation.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through excellent client care.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and other professionals, including barristers, mediators, counsellors, and external agencies.
- Keep up to date with developments in family law and maintain continuing professional development.
About You
- Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive status with a current practising certificate.
- At least 3 years' experience handling a family law caseload (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of family law and court procedures.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and client care skills.
- The ability to manage their own caseload with minimal supervision.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
