Detailed Description From Employer:

We are currently seeking multiple Family Gateway Contact Officers, on behalf of one of our clients in the Cardiff Area.

In this role, you will work as part of the Family Gateway Team, providing high-quality information, advice, and assistance to families and professionals across Cardiff. You'll help identify the most appropriate support for children, young people, and families, ensuring their wellbeing needs are met at the right time and at the right level.

This is a hybrid role, with around two days per week in the office. You won't carry a caseload but will be responsible for managing and coordinating multiple referrals through various contact channels including telephone, web chat, and email.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide information, advice, and assistance to families and professionals.
  • Coordinate and manage multiple incoming referrals to ensure timely support.
  • Work collaboratively with social workers, Early Help teams, and partner agencies.
  • Identify when individuals may be at risk and escalate appropriately.
  • Maintain accurate records using Microsoft Office and case management systems.
