Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct First Article Inspection (FAI) activities to verify products meet all specified requirements and standards.

  • Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to resolve non-conformances identified during FAI processes.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspection results and prepare detailed reports for compliance and audits.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback on manufacturing and quality issues.
  • Ensure all activities comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
  • Assist in developing and reviewing inspection procedures and work instructions.

  • Proven experience in First Article Inspection within aerospace, defence, or high-precision manufacturing sectors.
  • Strong understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T, and technical specifications.
  • Knowledge of standards such as AS9100, ISO 9001, and aerospace quality requirements.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills to identify discrepancies.
  • Proficiency with inspection tools including CMM, calipers, and micrometers.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Certifications like AS9102 FAI Certification are highly desirable.
  • Ability to interpret technical data and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
