Summary: The Facilities Engineer role involves monitoring and inspecting project activities, providing technical support during construction phases, and ensuring compliance with specifications and sustainability requirements. The engineer will lead technical input for projects, liaise with various teams, and conduct quality assurance audits to ensure installations meet design specifications. Regular reporting on project status and participation in design reviews are also key components of the role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and inspect project activities in line with management milestones.
• Provide technical support during construction phases of projects.
• Support the development of specifications and ensure compliance with sustainability requirements.
• Attend and lead design reviews, providing technical input for mechanical, electrical, and building fabric requirements.
• Liaise with Technical Facilities engineers to ensure adherence to local and national standards.
• Advise and coach project management teams on issues and resolutions.
• Review and discuss assets to be removed and installed during projects.
• Provide feedback from Asset Management and TFS teams to the design team.
• Monitor and report on build aspects and conduct quality assurance audits.
• Attend project progress meetings and interface with design and project teams.
• Ensure the Health & Safety File is compiled and relevant information is shared with stakeholders.
