We are currently looking to recruit 1 x Experienced Fabricator Welder to join our team based in the West of Newcastle.This is a hands-on role that requires strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with power tools, hand tools, and sheet metals.This job description is not exhaustive of all duties & responsibilities. You will be responsible for using various tools and techniques to weld, fabricate, and assemble metal components. MIG Welding Complete fabrication tasks as outlined by production team leader. Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints and diagrams. Perform basic math calculations to measure and mark materials Maintaining stock of fabricated components. Working to tolerances set out in the instructions. Ensure work areas are kept tidy and equipment is maintained. Demonstrate the ability to work to the quality standards set by company. Be capable of working independently and operate effectively within a team. Expected to be flexible and demonstrate willingness to undertake training in other areas of production line. Demonstrate good health and safety practice. The person Have previous Fabricating experience Have MIG Welding experience Be able to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints Be able to measure , cut, bend, grind and finish off metal products Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of sheet metal Basic math skills for measurements and calculations Have experience to quality check finished products. This role is an on-going temporary role which could become permanent for the right person
