Role Description This is a contract, on-site role for a Fabricator/welder located in Ripon/Harrogate, Yorkshire. The Fabricator will be responsible for constructing and assembling marquee structures and related components, ensuring high-quality workmanship and attention to detail. Day-to-day tasks include measuring, cutting, and shaping materials, interpreting design plans, maintaining tools and equipment, and assembling and disassembling components. The role also involves collaborating with a team to ensure timely and efficient project completion and safely managing materials and resources. Self employed is prefered.
Qualifications Proficiency in fabrication techniques, including measuring, cutting, and assembling materials Ability to work from design plans and blueprints with attention to detail Experience operating and maintaining tools and equipment used in construction or fabrication Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in a construction or fabrication environment Physical ability to perform manual tasks, lift materials, and work in various conditions Experience in events or marquee construction is a plus Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, as per project requirements
