Summary: The External Sales Executive role involves increasing the turnover and profitability of a family-run business specializing in perforated metal and wire mesh products. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop customer base to grow top line revenue.
  • Provide technical advice and solutions to customers.
  • Prepare quotations and process orders.
  • Manage and grow existing accounts, including cross-selling products.
  • Work independently to meet deadlines and sales targets.
  • Coordinate orders and deliveries with internal departments.
  • Provide solutions for customers from various sources.
  • Manage own diary, spending 75% of time in the office and 25% on the road.
  • Attend trade shows in the UK, Ireland, and Europe.

Key Skills:

  • Previous experience in sales/field.
  • Experience in a related industry is advantageous.
  • UK driving licence and own vehicle.
  • Excellent selling and negotiating skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly and interpret technical product information.
  • Confidently understand and interpret engineering drawings.
