Key Responsibilities:
- Role modelling a culture aligned with GKN Aerospace’s values and principles.
- Global process owner for designated processes, tools, training, and systems.
- Selection, development, implementation, and maintenance of global procurement processes.
- Soliciting and developing requirements for global functional processes and solutions.
- Promoting standardization and deployment of procurement processes and systems.
- Developing and introducing best practice digital procurement technologies.
- Ensuring compliant use of project management methodology for Procurement Excellence projects.
- Accountable for relationships with solution partners and project deliverables.
- Organizing project reviews with stakeholders to monitor project status.
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies.
- Complying with legal and regulatory requirements related to contracting.
Key Skills:
- BSc degree or equivalent in Engineering or Science discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years relevant business experience.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in Procurement and Supply Chain Management.
- Strong understanding of Procurement Excellence and change management.
- Project management, development, and implementation skills.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- High degree of analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
