Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test suites using Selenium and C#
- Cover end-to-end test scenarios, including UI, API, and integration points
- Work with existing automation frameworks and improve where needed
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile delivery pod
- Integrate tests into CI/CD workflows using Azure DevOps
- Apply best practices in test design and execution
Key Skills:
- 4+ years of dedicated test automation experience, with a proven track record of enhancing existing frameworks
- Strong hands-on experience with Selenium, C#, and SpecFlow or similar
- Understanding of BDD/TDD methodologies
- Experience testing APIs, JSON, and Back End data workflows
- CI/CD exposure, particularly with Azure DevOps
- Self-starter mindset with excellent communication skills
- Background in financial services/insurance is a bonus

About the Role
Our client is undergoing a significant transformation-moving from manual testing to a fully automated testing strategy. We're looking for an experienced Test Automation Engineer to join the team and drive the automation effort from the ground up.
Starting 7th July 2025, this contract role will play a key part in delivering automated solutions for a £500m+ programme in the financial services domain.
