Summary: The Executive Communications Manager role is a strategic position focused on developing impactful communications within a global organization. The successful candidate will partner with various stakeholders to manage key projects, including executive positioning and the rollout of a new business strategy. This role requires a blend of creativity and strategic thinking to craft engaging communications across multiple channels. The position is based in Manchester and offers a hybrid working arrangement for a duration of 12 months.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Communications Business Partner to the President in managing key strategic projects, including executive positioning and quarterly financial reporting.
  • Develop key strategic messages and narratives for internal and external positioning of the business unit.
  • Conceptualize and craft executive presentations, letters, video messages, social media posts, and other communication materials.
  • Collect and analyze information to create concise and comprehensive messages for various stakeholder groups.
  • Transform business topics into engaging communications using diverse tools and channels.
  • Collaborate with international, cross-functional teams to coordinate integrated communications approaches.
  • Support other members of the communications team on strategic projects and initiatives as required.

Key Skills:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in communications, public affairs, or public relations.
  • Experience handling confidential information prior to publication.
  • University diploma in communications, journalism, public affairs, marketing, or a comparable degree.
  • High level of strategic thinking and tactical delivery.
  • Creativity in transforming scientific and business topics into meaningful communications.
  • Strong networking and communication skills.
  • Empathetic and open-minded personality, comfortable in multicultural teams.
  • Flexible and adaptive working style with attention to quality.
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills.
