Executive Assistant

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Executive Assistant to support a busy Engineering team working within the UK's growing High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) sector.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced, innovative environment where you'll play a key role in supporting engineering teams delivering major power transmission and infrastructure projects.

You'll be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day administrative activities while acting as a trusted point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Organise team meetings, workshops and events
  • Prepare agendas and take accurate meeting minutes
  • Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements
  • Support the planning and delivery of internal and external training sessions
  • Prepare and maintain team dashboards, reports and tracking documentation
  • Coordinate procurement of IT equipment, mobile devices, PPE and office supplies
  • Support onboarding activities for new starters
  • Provide general administrative support to the wider Engineering team
  • Build strong working relationships with colleagues and key stakeholders across the business

About You: To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Previous experience in an Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant, Team Assistant or Administration role
  • Excellent organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with a range of stakeholders
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and collaboration platforms such as Microsoft Teams
