Summary: The role of Executive Assistant at Balfour Beatty involves providing high-level support to the Alliance Director and Leadership Team within a complex and fast-paced environment. This position is critical to the success of the Sizewell C project, one of the UK's largest low-carbon infrastructure initiatives. The Executive Assistant will manage complex diaries, coordinate meetings, and ensure effective communication across the MEH Alliance. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract based in Bristol with hybrid working arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide dedicated, high-level executive support to the Alliance Director
  • Manage complex diaries, priorities and stakeholder engagements
  • Coordinate meetings, travel, accommodation and expenses
  • Act as a key point of contact, managing information flow and competing demands
  • Prepare and quality-check briefings, presentations and papers
  • Attend leadership meetings, capturing actions and outcomes
  • Support communication and coordination across the MEH Alliance
  • Maintain structured records and documentation

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience supporting senior executives within complex organisations
  • Highly organised with strong prioritisation skills
  • Confident communicator, able to engage at all levels
  • Able to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Proactive, forward-thinking and able to anticipate needs
  • Comfortable working with minimal direction in a fast-paced environment

About The Role At Balfour Beatty , we are leading the transformation of the UK’s infrastructure, delivering some of the country’s most complex and iconic projects. Our teams are shaping the future of energy, transport, and essential infrastructure – safely, sustainably, and collaboratively. We are seeking a highly capable Executive Assistant on a 1 2 Month FTC to act as a trusted partner, delivering high-level support in a fast-paced, complex environment. Sizewell C is one of the UK’s largest low-carbon infrastructure projects, supporting the country’s long-term energy strategy. As part of the MEH Alliance , you’ll play a critical role supporting the Alliance Director and wider Leadership Team.
