Summary: The Exchange / Collaboration Engineer role is a contract position based in Cumbria, requiring active SC clearance and classified as inside IR35. The engineer will support high-profile clients within the End User Services UK department, focusing on collaborative systems and applications. Responsibilities include performance monitoring, project management support, and troubleshooting across various IT infrastructure projects. The position is hybrid, allowing for a combination of on-site and remote work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Undertaking performance monitoring, tuning, fault diagnosis, incident, and request resolution.
• Support and manage scheduling of Project work tasks and liaise with Project Managers to achieve planned deliverables.
• Undertake Problem Management tasks.
• Able to coordinate incident, problem and requests queues, involving other team resources as required.
• Troubleshoot and support SOE to achieve BAU SLA commitments.
• Collaborative Applications build and configuration as per LLD.
• Produce working documentation re Toolset or service configuration.
• Involvement in new IT Infrastructure projects.
• Expected to work a reasonable amount of overtime to cover outage slots.

Key Skills:

• Experience with Microsoft Exchange 2010 and 2016.
• Knowledge of ClearSwift SMTP Secure Gateways and DeepSecure MailGuard.
• Experience with Microsoft Skype for Business Server 2015/2019 and Skype Federation.
• Familiarity with Ribbon SBC Gateways, Call Routing, and PSTN.
• Phone handset management and configuration skills.
• Experience with Enterprise Smart Device systems (e.g., Blackberry UEM, Android).
• Knowledge of Clearswift Secure Web Gateway (Web proxy).
