Summary: The Excel/Financial Modeller role is a 3-6 month contract based in Maidstone, Kent, requiring one day per week on-site attendance. Key Responsibilities:
- Run and continuously develop an automated process to reconcile transactions between bank statements and internal payment records
- Understand data flows across multiple systems, downloading and matching data to enable accurate reconciliation
- Collaborate with banking teams to ensure all reconciliation breaks are resolved and properly understood
- Refine and document processes to maintain high standards of accuracy and efficiency
Key Skills:
- Experience in account reconciliation from primary data sources
- Excellent Excel modelling skills with high technical competence in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Demonstrable accounts reconciliation experience
- Understanding of data flows in accounting systems
- Strong communication skills at all levels
- Ability to work in a diverse environment and adapt to learning and change
- Flexible approach to changing priorities

This is an exciting opportunity to run and develop an Excel-based reconciliation process that bridges external bank statements with internal payment records, ensuring efficient production of reliable bank reconciliation reports.
