Summary: The Events Manager role is a 6-month fixed-term contract focused on delivering high-quality corporate events, both in-person and virtual, within a hybrid working environment. The position requires collaboration with the Head of Events and Senior Events Manager, as well as internal stakeholders, to ensure impactful event execution. Candidates should possess strong organizational skills and experience in a financial services context, with a proactive and creative approach to event management. Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Head of Events and Senior Event Manager in delivering a portfolio of client and internal events (in person and virtual).
  • Collaboration with extended Marketing team as well as internal stakeholders.
  • Supporting the business to deliver a high-quality event programme.
  • Managing a range of events from inception to completion and post-event actions.
  • Coordinate logistics, audience, budget, event promotion.
  • Oversee the sign-off process for event marketing materials.
  • Source venues.
  • Liaison with suppliers.
  • Co-ordinate information from a range of sources.
  • Contributing to planning documents and tools.

Key Skills:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a corporate events role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Competency in Cvent.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proven experience in planning and delivering both in-person and virtual events from concept through to completion and post-event evaluation.
  • Confidence in engaging with senior colleagues and customers.
  • Competency with statistics and reporting.

Job Description Events Manager – 6 Month FTC - Corporate Events

Location and working pattern

This is a hybrid position requiring a minimum of two days per week in our London office to facilitate team collaboration and organisational integration, with flexibility to work remotely for the remaining days. The role also requires the ability to travel, including overnight stays as necessary, to support event delivery and related business activities.

We’re seeking a highly organised, experienced, and proactive Events Manager to join our team. In this role, you’ll support the Head of Events and Senior Events Manager in delivering exceptional in-person and virtual events, ensuring the organisation’s external presence is consistently professional, creative, and impactful. Ideally, you’ll bring experience from a financial services environment and have proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting competing deadlines. You’ll demonstrate excellent organisational and logistical skills, with proficiency in Cvent considered an advantage. A forward-thinking mindset is essential. We’re looking for a collaborative team player who shows initiative, has a genuine passion for events, and contributes positively and effectively within a team environment.
