Summary: The Event Transport Project Manager will oversee the operations for the F1 contract at Silverstone, ensuring meticulous planning and service delivery in collaboration with key stakeholders. This role involves project management, stakeholder engagement, and the development of operational plans to ensure a safe and efficient event. The position is initially a 6-month fixed-term contract with potential for permanence, reporting to the Head of Events and Corporate Delivery. The successful candidate will lead operational teams and manage project deliverables while maintaining compliance and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project manage and deliver operations for the F1 contract at Silverstone.
  • Plan and ensure cost-efficient delivery of safe, punctual, and reliable services.
  • Engage with internal departments and lead communications with stakeholders.
  • Monitor and manage project deliverables against key milestones.
  • Develop and maintain project RAID logs and provide reports on the event programme.
  • Manage budget and project costs, ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Lead and guide operational teams and support recruitment for event projects.
  • Implement standardized event operations management plans and ensure safety standards.
  • Provide comprehensive post-event reports and recommendations for improvement.
